Vedanta Society of New York Content Use Policy

Vedanta Society of New York aims to provide a consistent, user-friendly, and ad-free experience of its content on YouTube. Therefore, all channels using our videos must follow the guidelines below. Failure to comply will lead to copyright strikes that will jeopardize the status of the offending channel.

• Copying of videos (either whole or in part), with or without editing is strictly prohibited – except by authorized Vedanta organizations affiliated with the Ramakrishna Order, Belur Math.

• Only a link to an existing video in our YouTube channel can be featured in the hosting channel.

• Channels that do receive explicit permission to re-publish our content must not have advertisements enabled. Ads can be disabled channel-wide from settings.

• Any video that eventually links to anything in our YouTube channel should display the source in the beginning of the description as follows:

  • This content belongs to the Vedanta Society of New York (https://www.youtube.com/vedantany)

  • Original source: [YouTube or Podcast Link]
